Concours Restored Ferrari "Daytona" 365 GTB/4 - Price on application
For the enthusiast, no other car offers the mystique of Ferrari
The car's styling came from designer Leonardo Fioravanti. He describes the process: "I worked for seven days without taking a break and then showed my ideas to Sergio Pininfarina. He liked them, as did Enzo Ferrari, and that's how it all came about."
The Ferrari Daytona, also known as the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 for the Berlinetta and 365 GTS/4 for the Spyder, was a two-seat grand tour manufactured by Ferrari from 1968 to 1973. It was unveiled at the Paris Auto Salon in 1968 as a replacement for the GTB/4 and was powered by the 275's Colombo V12 engine bored out to 4,390 cc (4.4 L; 267.9 cu in). The Daytona was succeeded by the mid-engined 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer in 1973.
The Ferrari club historians estimate that a total of 1,406 Daytonas were produced, including 156 UK right-hand-drive coupés, 122 Factory-Made Spyders (of which 7 are right hand drive), and 15 competition cars.
